4. AI tools and third party providers

When you use the 1Git AI tools, the text you enter and related content are sent to third party providers of large language model services so that a response can be generated and returned to you. We do this only to deliver the feature you requested.

Because this content leaves our systems and is processed by these providers, please do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information into the AI tools. You are responsible for the content you submit.

The providers we use may change over time. They process your input under their own terms and privacy practices. We select providers that offer business terms intended to limit how submitted content is retained or reused, but we do not control their systems.

5. Service providers we use

We rely on trusted companies to run our service. These include:

  • A payment processor, which handles plan and token purchases and acts as the seller of record.
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers, which run our infrastructure.
  • Analytics and communication providers, which help us understand usage and contact you.
  • Third party AI providers, as described above.

These providers may process your information only to perform services for us, under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.

6. Legal bases for processing

If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following:

  • Performance of a contract, to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests, to secure, maintain, and improve our service.
  • Consent, where required, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation, where the law requires us to process information.

7. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • With the service providers described above, to operate the service.

  • To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where information may transfer as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent, or at your direction.

8. International data transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer information across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses. For details, contact us at privacy@gitvance.online.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
