Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for Gitvance plans and token packs, and how to request one.

1. Overview

We want you to be happy with Gitvance. This policy sets out when payments can be refunded. It works together with our Terms of Service. Because plans and token packs are sold through our payment processor, refunds are handled with that processor.

2. Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period.

  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the current period.
  • We do not generally refund the current period or past periods once a renewal has been charged, except where the law requires it or where we agree at our discretion.
  • If you were charged because of a clear billing error on our side, we will refund that charge.

3. Token packs

Token packs are prepaid usage credits.

  • Tokens that you have already used are not refundable, because the usage has been delivered.
  • A token pack that is fully unused may be eligible for a refund within 3 days of purchase, at our discretion, unless the law gives you a stronger right.
  • Once any tokens from a pack have been used, that pack is treated as consumed and is not refundable.
  • Tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money outside of a refund allowed here.

4. Free plan

The free plan involves no payment, so nothing is charged and nothing is refundable. You can stop using it at any time.

5. How to request a refund

To ask for a refund, contact us at billing@gitvance.online with the email on your account, the date of the charge, and a short description of the reason. We may ask for more details to confirm the purchase.

6. Processing a refund

If we approve a refund, it is issued to your original payment method through our payment processor. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. We will let you know once the refund has been issued.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can help. Starting a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws that apply to you. Where those laws give you stronger rights than this policy, those laws apply.
